The Office! // Design and Inspiration

I am over the moon excited about the opening of my new office space! I have a not so secret love affair with interior design. So besides the obvious excitement I had over opening a public office space there was the added bonus of designing the space. I’ve included shops and inspirations of how the space came to be what it is.

My color palette was gray, gold, rose and white and the style is a mix of rustic and modern.

I wanted the space to feel open and airy and also cozy and inviting. The space isn’t gigantic but it boasts 10 foot ornate ceiling  that reminds me of fondant on a wedding cake. =)

Where I got the goods: Couch, Rug, Vase, Gold-Circle Sculpture & Coffee Table :West Elm // The Chair: Ikea // The lamp:Target // The Planters : DIY.  The planters were originally terra cotta and I used a matte white and matte rose-bisque for the planter tray.

The frames are from Design Aglow and the canvas is from Millers Lab. (all produce that clients can purchase)

The accent wall when you first walk in is gold adhesive dots from Paper Source and the coat hanger is from Home Goods. The filing cabinet is Oxford cabinet (assembled by yours truly!).

The planter was made by NSage Design, the curtain is from West Elm and the shelf was DIY.

The cabinet is from Ikea, the tea jars are ikea and the tray, plates, bowls and glasses are all from West Elm. The planter is from NSage Design.

The wooden boxes (not intended for planters originally) are from Ikea and the sweet over sized coaster is from West Elm.
